Students are required to attend classes each week and complete online coursework outside of class hours. All Construction Bootcamps include skills training in hand and power tools, safety, construction math, print reading, hands-on experience building projects, career and resume preparation. and focused training in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.

Our program is FREE to anyone pursuing a career in construction in north Alabama. We also provide all of the tools and equipment needed to complete the course.

COURSE CONTENT
Basic Safety
Learn proper safety procedures needed to work on a professional job site. Students can earn a 6-hour HBAA Safety 6 worksite safety certification.
BASIC Skills
NAHA students spend 9 class sessions learning basic skills and equipment frequently used on a residential construction site. Skills learned may include:

Trade Specific Training
NAHA students can currently focus on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing. Students will spend 5 classes focused on learning entry level knowledge and skills in a trade area of their choosing.
